What is Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP)
The MGCP, or Media Gateway Control Protocol, is a combination of the IPDC and SGCP protocols, which covers both protocols' goals. MGCP is a Master / Slave protocol, which is responsible for controlling the gateways.
